I believe Ukraine will have no peace until their president Volodymyr  Zelenskyy  dies . Zelenskyy has found that there is lots of money to be had in a war . He gets to be a big shot on the world stage as long as there is a conflict. He has absolutely no interest in ending the conflict, because then Ukraine will go back to being a backwater that nobody has heard of or even cares about. As long as there is fighting, Zelenskyy can demand money and other aid from the west. If the fighting stops , the gravy train comes to a halt, and 'ol Volodymyr will have to go back to playing piano with his dingus again.
