       I've been fighting a low key sinus infection after the Ryker dog broke my nose , and a cold too. We ran out of dog food yesterday , and Yoda was not happy about that ! he really likes lots of between snack meals . I ran to The farm store and got dog food and a couple other things and was going to the grocery store. As I was making my way up the highway , I started coughing and hacked up a bunch of phlegm witch I promptly spit out the window. Well I did not see the fellow who was camped out in my blind spot and it hit his truck. as I came to the stop sign he rolled up in the lane beside me and started yelling about it. I turned the corner and drove to the grocery store figuring that was it and as I was  sitting there he came cruising up and parked a couple rows away.   I saw him stop over there and figured if I left the truck he would mess with it so I sat there and pretended to play with my phone. After I didn't leave he decided to come over and give me a hard time. He demanded an apology and I said whatever. he was getting really belligerent so at that point said he was going to kick my ass , since I was still in my ride with the keys in the ignition I told the fool to go fuck himself and fired up the ride and split. I GTFO and by the time he was back to his truck I was on the highway.  The dumb S.O.B. never considered that I might be armed. I resisted the urge to brandish the pistol . I did not want to give the moron any excuse to call the cops . But I will defend myself . A mid 60s dude with a couple heart attacks under my belt , homey ain't gonna play that game . Roadrage boy needs to think more 

 

 

 

 

 

    I've seen many videos recently with "Strong Independent Women" telling the world how they don't need no man around, And no man is going to tell them what they can do or what they can not do . ,or who they can or can not talk with . Then they turn around and say the Government is the perfect "baby daddy" (I hate that term) . The Government is always there for them . Rent assistance , free phone, food stamps, all of that free ! But they never think how demanding the Government can be. The Government will tell you who can live with you , how much you can earn , where you will live,  Big Baby Daddy Is Watching !         If you have Government sponsored everything , how independent are you really ?

    Way back in the days of yore, when the siblings and I were kids , the Friday evening routine was pork chops and baked potatoes for dinner , and sit down ahead of the T.V. and watch the Partridge Family and Brady Bunch. Well, Friday evening I had the old Friday Night Special , a couple of  big 'ol porkchops and baked spuds a taste of yesterday to be sure . But nostalgia has its limits so I did not look up the T.V. programs from back in the day. I did however have a Brady Bunch moment of my own . As I was making dinner , I bent over to give Riker (the wonder Dog) a rub and He picked the same time to jump up and bashed his head into my snout. I said "My nose !"  and stumbled over to the sink to grab some paper towels ,while bleeding all over the place.   so I sat down by the computer and looked that scene up while I was waiting for the bleeding to stop. Nostalgia ain't what it usta be .

  Decided to try my hand at enchiladas for supper today. Less risk to the nose I hope .

 the military has to be a feared fighting force . I propose we name units after serial killers. Think about it, a special forces unit that makes their headwear from the skins of their adversaries ,for example we could call them the Gein Berets , any other ideas ?

Picked up a new pistol, it is a G.S.G 1911 model in .22 it had the same feel as a 1911 in .45 but a smaller hole . It is a well made pistol. It is the same as the Sig Saur  but half the price. I visited my friend and we shot it yesterday , it's a fun to shoot gun. had a couple fail to feeds but that might be break in related, overall it worked good. It was a windy day , and the afternoon sun was making a lot of glare as the sun was behind the targets. and we were not using a rest so the groups were not as small as they could have been.

 It seems that people nowadays are going nuts. One can not have a conversation for fear of igniting a violent and vicious response from people who are unable to articulate their position on a topic , but do not agree . 

 

 

 

 went down a kind of a fun rabbit hole last evening , got into Mashups ,there are lots of cool ones out there that one would not expect to go together well.  like "Electric Sex Machine " a Judas Preist / James Brown fusion that works well, or "It's Raining Lobsters " A Slayer/B52s fusion. Good stuff! Of course there was some stuff that'll make your ears bleed as well but thats part of the fun.

 I have long been thinking about getting a semiautomatic pistol in 9MM . I wanted something with a larger magazine than the 1911s but I am no fan of the plastic fantastic wundergunz . I looked at the Baretta 92 and liked those, but decided on the Browning Hi Power copy from Springfield Armory . I have been kind of lusting for one ever since they were released , and back in March I got one . I finally had the time to get to the range and try it out , and it is a winner. it's a soft shooting pistol ,not much recoil so it's easy to recover and get back on target for a follow up shot . It has decent sights and the trigger is good as well . My only gripe was only one magazine came with it. First thing I did when I got it home was to order two spare magazines from Springfield Armory the customer service was great I had the spares in my hands in only a couple days. Overall I am more than pleased with the SA35 Its going to be my companion when I go walkabout . But I still might get that Baretta ...

 

 

 

 Is it worth it to read A.I. generated stories ? words strung together according to the algorithm lacking all human input. Void of emotion lacking any real human experience  ? 

    I would like to be able to shoot more and become proficient with the new pistol so I am able to hit what I want to under stressful conditions . Unfortunately for me , there have been many new houses put up in the area so stray bullets going down range could have tragic results . Not an issue in an empty hay field but unacceptable with a house anywhere in the vicinity , guess I will have to look things over and make a small berm so I can shoot .22s and medium size pistols without any chance of collateral damage. My good friend recently bought a 20 acre farmette about an hour north of here so we are going to see if we can put together a range there  as well. It would be sweet to be able to shoot the pistols without driving all over .
